|Capital Armament Company relocates to Sibley, Iowa|
January 5, 2015
Minnesota-based Capital Armament Co. has announced it will move its business from Mendota Heights, Minnnesota to Sibley, Iowa at the beginning of 2015. The move will bring jobs to the Osceola County industrial park.
Capital Armament is a firearms and ammunition manufacturer and dealer founded by three friends and veterans. The owners said one of the reasons for the move was the Home Base Iowa Act.
Osceola County Economic Development Commission Director Mike Earll said the company is looking at temporary production facilities in Sibley until a permanent structure can be built in the industrial park. Production in the company's temporary facility is expected to begin in January.
